Jonas Brothers Breaking Records in 2008

The Jonas Brothers have made music history with 3 of their albums in the top ten.  It is the first time that has happened since Billboard switched to Sound Scan in 1991.  The Jonas Brothers’ A Little Bit Longer came out in its first wee at # 1 on the Billboard Top 200 with 525,093 CDs sold,  making it the 3rd highest debut of 2008.  Also in the top ten, the soundtrack to Camp Rock with the Jonas Brothers at # 8 and also, the Jonas Brothers’ CD which has been out for a long time is at # 10 on he list.  On iTunes, the Jonas Brothers have had 6 consecutive # 1 singles “S.O.S.,” “When You Look Me In The Eyes,” “Burnin’ Up,” “Pushin’ Me Away,” “Tonight,” and “A Little Bit Longer.” Also, the awesome tune “Burnin’ Up,” set a new record for most requests in 24 hours for Radio Disney’s radio request phone line. The Jonas Brothers won 6 Teen Choice Awards for 2008 and are nominated for 2 MTV Video Music Awards and will have their first MTV VMA performance September 7. Jonas Brothers recently were featured on the cover of Rolling Stone, and are the youngest group ever to appear on the cover.
